Suttons Seeds Delivery Explained

How will my order be delivered?
Answer
All orders are acknowledged – post and phone orders by post and online orders by email.

Small items are sent by Royal Mail

Larger items are sent by carrier (UK Mail) and are normally delivered within 48 or 72 hours of despatch.

Very large items (marked) will be sent by carrier who will contact the customer by phone to make delivery arrangements.

Please note that when several items are ordered they may not all be delivered at the same time, e.g. seeds will be sent from our warehouse whereas plants are normally sent direct from the nurseries.

When will I receive my order?

To track your order online please visit our website www.suttons.co.uk and log into your account. Then, simply follow the instructions given.

Delivery dates for plants and other live products can be tracked on the Despatch Date Schedule available on our website.

When will I receive my plants?
Answer
Up to date information regarding plant despatch dates can be found on our online Plant Despatch Schedule. This schedule will give you our target despatch week and, when we have had to unavoidably delay despatch for quality reasons, the revised target despatch week will be shown.

I’m going on holiday, can you delay the delivery of my plants please?
Answer
Our plants and other live products are all grown with the utmost care and to the highest quality standards. They will be sent to you at the best stage of development for travelling and for you to grown on successfully. The items have to be despatched when they are ready, often at the rate of several thousand per day, and so we regret that we are unable to accept requests for them to be held for despatch on or after certain dates.

If you are not likely to be at home when your items are due to be delivered then please let us have an alternative delivery address (perhaps a friends or neighbour). To ensure that we are able to comply with your request please let us know at least 3 weeks before the delivery period given.

Can you deliver to non EU addresses?
Answer
I confirm that we are able to send packet seed to all addresses within the EU however we are not able to send any items to addresses outside of the EU.

I’ve moved house, how do I change the address on my account?
Answer
To update your address simply visit our website and go to My Account then log on and edit your registered details and Save. This will change the address on your account however will not amend any orders in progress. If you have an order in progress please contact our customer service team by phone or email and they will then amend your order.
