Our favourite new products

Our new main catalogue has been available for a couple of weeks now. Most of you should have received your copy but, if by any chance, you have not received one yet please request it here.

It’s jammed packed full of our complete seed range, young plants, summer bulbs and a selection of our most popular gardening equipment.  There’s so much choice we thought we’d highlight some of our favourite new varieties.

Avoid Runner Bean setting problems with Runner Bean Moonlight. Many of us had problems with runner beans setting this year so we are really pleased to introduce this new Runner/French bean cross. Bringing the self pollinating benefits of the french bean to the traditional runner bean it produces masses of pretty white flowers that self pollinate well ensuring a good set even in poor weather going on to producing a bumper crop of tasty, smooth, stringless pods.

We have taken all the hard work out of growing Sweet Potatoes.  Traditionally supplied as ‘slips’ – the shoots that grow from the mature sweet potato, however these are renown for being hard to establish.  Our Sweet Potato Beauregard Pot Ready Plants are supplied as strong, established plants with plenty of roots ready for you to grow on to enjoy a good crop of tasty tubers!

Tomato F1 Sweet ‘n Neat is a fabulous new cherry tomato ideal for patio containers as it will produce masses of fruit on a small upright plant – 60 to 80 in just one season!

Sweet Peas are one of the most popular garden flowers in the UK and so we are pleased to have added the award winning Sweet Pea Villa Roma Scarlet to our range.  It’s extremely dwarf,  making it ideal for containers, while it’s sweetly scented , dazzling scarlet flowers will bloom over a long period of time.

While if you want to add an unusual splash of colour to your beds or borders the unusual spiky Calendula Porcupine is the flower for you.
