Reasons to be Cheerful . . .

The first broad beans are poking their noses through at the moment and there is lots of new life showing in the form of buds – the apple tree, cherry tree and the pussy willow are all waking up – and then there’s the pond. The resident frog population has been very busy and there are bucketfuls of spawn floating about;  it’s just like frog soup! That means lots of future slug and snail eating machines to help in the garden which is always good news.

And it’s time to get out and start planting seeds as the ground starts warming up too – lovely!
