There’s a really nice article on Rhubarb on the Telegraph site (Family favourite given a foodies’ makeover), it’s interesting to consider how it’s become so fashionable. Personally I have mixed memories of it as a child, my siblings being very disparaging about it but I was generally a fan, particularly in a pie or a crumble. My dad always grew rhubarb but I’ve never tried so I might give it a go this year especially having seen this recipe for a one-crust Rhubarb pie by Delia Smith – very tempting!

I’ve similar experience with rhubarb, not good as a child. We now grow our own and it’s changed my relationship with it :). It’s a great addition to roasted meats in a stuffing or as a side vegetable.
