A poem about Suttons Seeds

Suttons seeds poem by Hannah Sudworth

Suttons seeds poem by Hannah Sudworth

Back in the lazy hazy month of July, several local schools came to visit the trials grounds and for their ‘homework’ we asked the children to write a poem about their visit, and what was the best part of their day (ok so getting back on the coach and going home wasn’t exactly what we were hoping for!) Here’s the winning poem from Hannah Sudworth of Ilsham School, Torquay:

Suttons Seeds poem
Happy children on the coach,
Fran and Brenda they approach.
They take us through a load of flowers
Some of them are bigger than towers!
Toby takes us to plant some seeds
Whilst walking through flowers not weeds!
Then it was time to go,
“Oh no!”
