We have a new blogger on board and we’re really glad to have him. Please welcome Phil McCann to the Suttons blogging team.
Phil has been gardening for longer than he cares to remember. After acquiring his first allotment aged 14, he soon graduated to a greenhouse in his parents back garden. After studying Plant Science at University he has now spent most of his career in horticulture working with garden centres, nurseries, seed companies and latterly with television and radio companies. Currently a garden writer for gardening magazines he is also the author of four gardening books and a charming book for children. He is also a radio broadcaster for Radio WM and has spent over ten years working on BBC Gardeners’ World and other gardening programmes on television. Phil gardens at home in the East Midlands where his raised beds have become the centre of attention as he tries to grow quality flowers and vegetables for his local show.
