Hardy Fuchsia ‘Delta’s Sarah’

How beautiful is this hardy fuchsia? ‘Delta’s Sarah’ produces large violet-blue and white flowers from June through to October. Growing to a height of 100cm, its cascading habit makes it ideal for patio containers or hanging displays. For added interest, the striking flowers mellow to a warmer maroon colour later in the year.

The magnificent agapanthus ‘blue and white mix’ combines blue ‘Queen of the Ocean’ and white ‘Polar Ice’ varieties. Well-known for its large, spherical blooms supported by tall slender stems, agapanthus reaches a mature height of 150cm. Flowering from July until September, the blooms of this impressive perennial continue to deliver well into autumn when they’re transformed into architectural seed heads.

Sedum ‘Atlantis’ is a plant for our times – drought tolerant, suitable for small spaces and covered in bright yellow flowers from July to September that act as a magnet for bees. Featuring rosettes of serrated green leaves edged with thick, creamy margins, the tips of this striking foliage turn a pink blush in autumn.
Limonium ‘Dazzle Rocks’

Limonium ‘Dazzle Rocks’ was introduced to the UK market exclusively through Suttons. A breeding breakthrough, ‘Dazzle Rocks’ is compact, fully hardy and floriferous, bearing pillows of purple flowers that reach 30-40cm high from June to September. Shortlisted for the RHS Chelsea Flower Show Plant of the Year Award 2021, it makes a great addition to borders, patio containers and cut flower arrangements.
Rudbeckia ‘Goldsturm’

Rudbeckia ‘Goldsturm’ is easily identifiable by its vibrant daisy-like flowers surrounding a dark central disk. Holding an Award of Garden Merit from the RHS, it produces long-lasting, golden-yellow blooms that bring a burst of later summer colour that lasts well into autumn.
Perennial plants are easy to grow, beautifully colourful and need very little ongoing attention. Emerging reliably year after year, simply lift and divide them every now and again when they need rejuvenating.
