I have what is called Blackheath gravel. It drains very easily. Even after years of addi8ng compost, it drains very quickly.
This winter, I lost many plants, even those called perenniens, and some shrubs.
I do grow lillies well, and agapanthus in pots. Acanthas go flpppy. It is a sunny east facing garden. Any suggestion for plants which will result in a full looking bed instead of many gaps?
