Step 1: Harvest your Beetroot Bull’s Blood from your vegetable patch or growing container and give it a wash. As it only needs 2 – 3 weeks of growing time from packet to plate, you can sow more seeds straight away.
Step 2: Prepare your mixed grains. These can be purchased as a ready made mix or you can choose whichever grains you prefer.
Step 3: Prep your feta cheese. Often it is cut into small cubes.
Step 4: Add any leafy greens to your salad too such as the Lettuce Mix or
Step 5: Add all of your freshly prepared ingredients to a large bowl and add a tea spoon of dressing or olive oil.
Step 6: Toss the salad together to allow the seasoning to mix with the feta cheese.
You’re all set! Enjoy your freshly made salad, created with home grown beetroot and lettuce! This salad is ideal as a side salad for a meal or just as a lunch time snack on a hot day.
